News and Updates - As of March 1, 2022


  • March 2022: IMPORTANT! March is the last month of $60 per hour pricing. Starting April, the hourly rate will be increased to $80 per hour for all Swim and Surf lessons. Ex: All 30 minute lessons will go up from $30 each to $40 each and 1 on 1 surf lessons go from $60 to $80 for the hour. Surfboards still provided.

  • March 2022: Surf Lessons are now available on the Schedule. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8am to 11am at the Doheny State Beach “Boneyard” by the Harbor jetty.

  • February 2022: Please Pay cash or Venmo during or after each lesson. I prefer not to have to request payments through Venmo. Thank you!

  • February 2022: REMINDER! All Clients are responsible for pool access. Swimmers must be Talega residents to swim at the TSAC facility. Same goes for Cypress cove and shores to use the community pools for swim lessons.

  • January 2022: Hope everyone had a great holiday season! I am back teaching January 15th and had a great time off spending time with the family and traveling to go surf. Here is a little peak at one session with my brother

Upcoming Trip: Santa Cruz PaddleFest 2018 - March 24th - 31st

Coach Joe will be out of town March 24th through the 31st competing in the 2018 Santa Cruz PaddleFest professional stand up paddle surfing competition with his brother pictured above.
